


DVI or also know as Digital Video Interface.
DVI is a video interface standard designed to provide very high visual quality technology made for display devises such as LCD Monitors and Digital projectors. It was designed to maximize the quality of these out put devises.
DVI Cables are used with the video card which by todays standards most video card maufacturers include at least one DVI output ports.
DVI standard was used for a short time as a digital transfer method top of the line HDTVs, displays for TV, movies, and DVDs.
DVI is closely related to HDMI but the main difference is that DVI typically carries no audio data in its TMDS channel.
DVI is now more exclusive to the computer manufacturers.
