LMR® 240 Cable Assemblies is Ideal for Jumper in Wireless Communications Systems needing Low Loss Communications Coax Cable for Short Antenna Feeder runs requiring an easily routable low loss RF cable.

LMR® 240 cable loss is another excellent hallmark feature of LMR®-240. Size for size the LMR® 240 power rating has the lowest loss of any flexible cable and comparable loss to semirigid hard-line cables including LMR® 240 vs RG8x.

LMR® 240 Cable specifications include a PVC outer jacket, Solid Inner Conductor Bare Copper, and Foam PE Dielectric. Times LMR® 240 RF Shielding is 50 dB greater than typical single shielded coax (40 dB). The multi-ply bonded foil outer conductor is rated conservatively at > 90 dB (i.e. >180 dB between two adjacent cables).

LMR®-240 PVC Cable Assemblies are designed for outdoor weatherbility, incorporating the best materials for UV resistance and have life expectancy in excess of 20 years.

Field Components maintains a wide variety of LMR® 240 connectors, including all common interface types, reverse polarity, and a choice of solder or nonsolder center pins. Most LMR® connectors employ crimp outer attachment using standard hex crimp sizes. For LMR® 240 Crimp tools we recommend the .255" crimp die.
